We need to connect with your email account In order for Cubby to be able to find messages from contacts that you add that relate to your school, sports and activities.
To ensure safety this is currently done through something called an App Password. An App Password is a one time password that your email provider provides so that third party services like Cubby can connect in the most secure way.
This password is only usable by Cubby and can be revoked by you at any time. Furthermore, if you ever change your main email password the app password is then invalid and a new one would need to be recreated.

Microsoft - If you use Hotmail, Live, MSN or Outlook email go to the [Advanced Security Options page](Advanced Security Options) and scroll to the Create App Password heading to create.
